Abstract
This article reviews all the anatomical structures of the eye, as much the internal ones as the external ones. All of them are designed in order to focus the light coming from outside to see correctly. Finally it is the brain which sees and interprets images. The article also reviews the main tests that are used in the daily consultation to evaluate the state of ocular health, with special emphasis in which can have a more excellent paper in the vision during the sport practice.
