Abstract
Since 1980, Dynamic Systems Theory has been applied to the study of human motricity, specially to the understanding of cyclic movements coordination. These kind of movements couldn’t be just explained with the theories based on motor programs. Results showed how the human organism is a dynamic complex system that presents typical organizing principles of complex systems. They have atractor states, and transitions between states are produced when interact and self-organize with the environment. During transitions, stability will decrease and critical fluctuations will appear. These phenomena have been studied during the execution of cyclic tasks and also to non-cyclic and cooperation-opposition between persons tasks. These investigations will affect motor control and learning and Sport Sciences.
