Abstract
In this article, a proposal of a test of temporal and spatial orientation is made, to be used as a basic and general measure of the sportive technical and tactical aptitudes. This proposal is based on a theoretical framework which allows us to affirm that the technical and tactical actions are a kind of knowledge — intelligence in the interactive dimension — characterized by the need of the temporal and spatial adjustment of the subject’s responses. Based on this, the test proposed presents situations of double measure — temporal and spatial – of the responses of a subject. A contrast of results is also made between the test proposed and subjective evaluation of technical and tactical performance, plus a contrast between that test and PM.A. test in order to prove the independence or dependence between both.
The statistical analysis seems to confirm the viability of the test proposed and some changes are suggested in order to simplify the administration of the test and also in order to increase its power for the diagnosis and prognosis of sport performance.
