Search of contents for the new subject: fighting activities and sports

Abstract
This article come about because of the new denomination (Activities and Contact Sports) that from the beginning of the 1997-98 course in INEF Catalunya receives the course until now called Sports I: Judo.
This signature has no choice but to broaden its contents in the mark of the new Study’s Plan, whose design considerably changes its objectives.
Faced with the evident impossibility of teaching all the activities and contact sports in existence, it has been necessary to choose among them, looking fundamentally for those we consider provide a greater educative value and adapt better to the aims of the course. All of this from a base of objective criteria, independent of the fact that whatever model, adequately prepared and taught, can have a great pedagogical value.
Initially, from a mosaic made up of 30 activities, we have selected twelve, consequently we have compared them and finally, as a result, we offer a few possible options in the new contents of the course.
